Personal Loan FAQs | Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some of the most common questions that our customers ask us about the Advantage loan process. If your question does not appear here, or if the answer is unclear, then do get in touch with us so that we can be of further assistance.

We are a customer-focused lender and look at the bigger picture. We understand that credit scores can take time to repair so your score may not accurately reflect your current circumstances. So, whilst we do undertake credit checks as part of the application process we will also consider lending to individuals with poor credit scores if we are confident that you can now afford the loan repayments.

The easiest way is to apply online. We try to make the process as quick and straightforward as possible, and you can do it all from home which we think is a lot less stressful.

We aim to get the money into your bank account within 15 minutes of approving your application, as long as this is within our working hours: Monday-Friday – 08:00-20:00; Saturday – 08:00-17:00.

The only charges we add to your loan are interest on the amount you borrow. There is no set up fee and no hidden costs.

The normal length of an Advantage loan is 24 months.

We let you decide! You can make loan repayments on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.

You will need a bank debit card to repay us: Visa Debit, Debit MasterCard, Visa Electron  or Visa Delta. We cannot accept credit card payments. You then have two options. The first is to set up a regular payment that will be taken automatically from your debit card. This is  known as Continuous Payment Authority (CPA)and many of our customers find this a very convenient way to pay. But if you prefer to make the repayments yourself then the second option is to do this via our online payment portal.

No problem. Just get in touch with us and we will let you know how much you have to pay. There are no fees for doing this and you will not have to pay any further interest once the balance of the loan is repaid.

We are fully regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority website. We take the security of our customers money and data very seriously, and if you have any concerns please let us know. You can read more about the way we use your personal data in our Privacy Policy

We aim for customer satisfaction at all times and are here to help with any questions or issues that you may have. In the unfortunate event of you wanting to make a complaint then full information on how to do this is on our Complaints page here.
